The Doors of Wisdom Are Never Shut

Haley had a teacher in 5th grade that was amazing! She inspired Haley and challenged her like no other. There are teachers who teach in words but don't connect with a student's heart. This teacher is NOT one of those. She gave Haley knowledge, encouragement, challenges and acceptance. Then she wrapped it all up together as she made room for Haley in her heart. Haley turned a new leaf the year she had this teacher, and she continues to be a wiser, stronger young woman because of the seed that this teacher planted in her mind and especially in her heart. This teacher taught her that "Quality isn't just about what you do, it's about who you are." Two years later, miles and schools apart, this sweet teacher is still a part of our lives and an even bigger part of our hearts. She shared a quote with me that she loves. I just had to make it into something special, because that is what this teacher is to us..."something special". And for anyone who knows this teacher, you know it HAS to be on purple in her honor. :) Dedicated with love to our Teacher of a Lifetime!
